NZ-sourced materials

NZ-Made Materials in Every Build

We source as much as we can from NZ-made and locally-sourced suppliers - Coloursteel® cladding, Metalcraft EPS panels, NZ-made steel for the chassis, locally-made joinery. Where we can't source NZ, we go to trusted Australasian or European suppliers. Here's what's in your build.

Coloursteel® cladding (NZ-made)

All our exterior cladding is Coloursteel® - Pacific Steel's NZ-manufactured, factory-painted steel sheet. Holds up to NZ weather, available in a range of finishes, and made in NZ. The cladding warranty is part of the Coloursteel® product backing.

Insulated EPS panels (NZ-supplied)

Our builds use 100mm insulated EPS panels - pre-insulated structural panels manufactured by Metalcraft (NZ supplier). The EPS core gives genuinely excellent thermal performance, and the steel skin is locally manufactured.

Steel chassis

Every build sits on a structural steel chassis - galvanised steel cut and welded in our Raglan workshop. The steel itself is NZ-supplied through local merchants. Designed for both transportability (crane lifts, road transport) and long-term structural integrity.

Joinery, fixtures + fittings

We use NZ-sourced kitchen and bathroom joinery where it makes sense. Some fixtures (taps, toilets, hob, rangehood) come from established NZ distributors of well-known brands - locally available, locally serviceable. We don't import obscure parts you can't service later.

Why this matters for you

When something needs replacing in 5 or 10 years - a tap, a window seal, a section of cladding - NZ-sourced materials mean local supply, local trades who know the products, and no offshore shipping delays. The lifecycle cost of an NZ-made build is genuinely lower than an imported equivalent.
