Silver builds

A light gauge steel frame home, built to last.

Silver is our light gauge steel frame build — the base, walls and roof are all framed in light gauge steel, insulated to H1 standards, clad over a cavity system and lined with 10mm Triboard for the feel of a traditional home. It sits between Bronze and Gold, built for long-term durability and greater customisation in the same NZ workshop.

Under the hood

What’s actually in it?

Silver swaps our insulated panel system for a full light steel frame — base, walls and roof — with the same complete fit-out, the same NZ workshop and the same quality standard.

  1. 100%

    light gauge steel framed

    Light gauge steel frame throughout

The base, walls and roof are all framed in light gauge steel — a strong, precise frame that won't warp, crack or rot.

  2. 10mm

    Triboard linings

The feel of a traditional home

Interior walls are lined with 10mm Triboard, giving a solid, classic, residential-quality finish inside.

  3. H1

    insulation standard

    Insulated to H1 standards

Insulated to the NZ Building Code H1 energy-efficiency standard, with NZ-made double-glazed joinery to hold the warmth in and keep condensation down.

  4. Cavity

    batten system

    Cavity system exterior

The cladding sits on a cavity batten system, so the walls can drain and dry - with your choice of COLORSTEEL®, Shadowclad®, timber panels or a mix. A framed build also gives more freedom with layouts, openings and finishes.
