Our 4.5×3 and 6×3 cabins make great backyard offices - small enough to slot in without disrupting your section, big enough for a proper desk, second monitor and bookshelves. Hamilton City Council and Waikato District Council operate slightly different minor dwelling rules, but both allow small transportable cabins under 10 m² without building consent in most cases. Hamilton sits 1.5 hours from our Raglan workshop, so we deliver Hamilton orders multiple times a month - and many of our installs go to families in Rototuna and Flagstaff for granny flats, or out toward Ngāruawāhia for lifestyle-block sleepouts. Pre-wired with a power circuit, insulated for year-round comfort, and a real commute-killer.

Both sit comfortably on standard suburban sections, give you a dedicated office space that's not the spare bedroom, and qualify for no-consent in most council areas (4.5×3 is right at the limit). Power and data connection are typically a half-day job once the cabin is on site.
Every build comes together in our Raglan workshop, fully wired and plumbed before it leaves the gate. Steel-frame chassis, Coloursteel® cladding, NZ-sourced joinery, double-glazed windows. We don't cut corners on the parts you live with every day.
